An ancient temple that blooms with endless summer flowers for a thousand years, dominating the summer of Sichuan! Yanzuo Zen Temple, formerly known as 'Xiaogan Temple', was founded during the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of nearly two thousand years. Every year from May to June is the most beautiful season for the temple, as the endless summer flowers bloom in succession, and the clusters of hydrangeas complement the ancient temple that has stood for a thousand years, presenting an overwhelmingly beautiful sight. The temple currently has two main ancient structures. One is the Dragon-protected Sarira Pagoda, the only existing Yuan Dynasty brick pagoda in Sichuan Province, and a national key cultural relic protection unit. The other is the Sutra-keeping Tower built during the Ming Dynasty's Chenghua period, which features a mortise and tenon structure, a single-eave hipped-gable roof, and a roof covered with semi-cylindrical tiles.
