Painting in an Art Village

So, Dafen may not be first on your list of places to check out while visiting Shenzhen, but if you’re in any way artistically inclined - or would like to try your hand at painting a keepsake for yourself - check it out! While the area of this little “village” covers only around 0.4km, it still makes for a pleasant stroll, during which you can gaze upon rows and rows of paintings in all different styles. I stopped by a little shop that had a cafe inside, and found out that I could also take the time to paint there too! I’m no artist, but it was a lot of fun taking the time to try my hand at creating something pretty. How to get there: Take Metro Line 3 to Dafen Station, then Exit 1A. #solotravel
