Having stayed in Fuzhou for so long, I just realized that Wuta and Baita Pagodas are the true hidden gems of the city! The two ancient pagodas face each other across the street, witnessing the changes of the thousand-year-old Min capital. Baita Pagoda Check-in Route: The snow-white pagoda hidden within Dingguang Temple is truly stunning. The temple is located on Yu Mountain. Coming here on a weekend, you might stumble upon a super lively "matchmaking corner." The sight of uncles and aunties seriously discussing their children's resumes is just adorable. Single folks can come here to try their luck for some romance! Fuzhou Painting Academy, next to the temple, often hosts exhibitions. Art lovers definitely shouldn't miss it. After visiting the pagoda, see an exhibition – a one-stop cultural outing! 📸 Wuta Pagoda Travel Guide: Wuta Park is right next to Aomen Road! A 5-minute walk directly to Lin Zexu Memorial Hall. After exploring, stroll directly to Nanhou Street for fish balls and rouyan (meat swallows). Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) is also nearby. It couldn't be more convenient! ♀️ Hidden Tip: When you're at the pagoda, be sure to walk around it three times clockwise. Remember, "walking clockwise brings merit, walking counter-clockwise brings sin."
