the Chaka Salt Lake Guarded by the ancestor of all mountains

The 'Kunlun Mountains' reflect the sky, stretching into the boundless desert. From west to east, there are four continuous sections: Bele Beach, Dabuxun, Chaka, and Hobson, collectively known as the Chaka Salt Lake. As the heart of Qaidam, the beauty of Qinghai Chaka Salt Lake captivates everyone, and as the 'Supreme Salt Lake in China,' its fame is widespread. The lake is surrounded by the highland spectacle of salt flowers, pure white as snow and crystal clear as jade; on ordinary days, it resembles a vast and boundless emerald sea. In the evening, under the glow of the sunset, it appears as if the sky and the water merge in a mist of clouds and rosy light. At midnight, the sky is filled with little stars, each trying its best to blend its speck of light with the others. Though not as brilliant as the sun or as clear as the moon, this dreamlike light sprinkles over the lake surface, stirring in people the desire to explore in this silent and boundless space.
