Prepare for a long journey when traveling to Northwest China

I've seen the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Ring Road countless times online, and finally, I experienced it myself!! Two of us girls did a lot of research before we left. Because the attractions on this trip are scattered, and we had a lot of luggage, we chose to travel with a tour group. - Outfit Recommendations Qinghai Lake: Recommended white or red flowing long dresses 😅 Emerald Lake: Suitable for versatile long dresses of various colors~ Qilian Grassland/Zhangye Danxia: Avoid overly bright colors, and accessorize appropriately. Chaka Salt Lake: Red dresses photograph well. Watch out for sinkholes and don't step in them. - 🚗 Precautions (Personal Experience) 1. Try to rest after arriving in Xining. I got altitude sickness because I started sightseeing as soon as I arrived. 2. Bring a pair of sunglasses with you when traveling in Qinghai. 3. Be sure to pack warm clothes. It's cold in the morning and evening in the northwest, but you can wear lighter clothes and dresses at noon. 4. You are not allowed to enter temples wearing short skirts or shorts. 5. Prepare for motion sickness! Whether you're driving yourself or joining a tour, you'll be spending a long time in the car. - We joined a small group of 4-8 people, and with the tour leader, there were 7 of us. The leader was a tall uncle who gave us shoe covers and oxygen. He was really thoughtful, and we got along well. There were no unpleasant situations like those mentioned online. The whole trip was just following the itinerary!! We saw Qinghai Lake, experienced the Mogao Caves, and felt the Crescent Moon Spring in the Mingsha Mountain. It was really great! After seven days, apart from the long travel time, there's nothing to complain about, haha. But it's understandable, the northwest is really vast. Self-driving is still not recommended, but be cautious when booking a tour. Be sure to ask whether they have a business license, an electronic contract, and so on!!
