Beautiful Gongsanseong Fortress, a must-visit destination for princesses on a trip

#TravelMoon ✨️Gongsanseong✨️ is a mountain fortress built during the Baekje period. It was called Ungjinseong during the Baekje period, and became Gongsanseong after the Goryeo period. It was built to protect Gongju, the capital city for 64 years under 5 generations until the capital was moved from Hansanseong to Ungjin in 475 (1st year of King Munju’s reign), and then to Buyeo in 538 (16th year of King Seong’s reign). It was the central mountain fortress at the time. It is a valley-style mountain fortress that surrounds the peak of Gongsan (公山), which is 110m above sea level, to the western peak, and the perimeter of the fortress is 2,450m. It is about 800m east to west and about 400m north to south in terms of plan, and stone walls remain on all sides.
