The 'Two Rivers and Four Lakes' in Guilin refers to the Lijiang River, Taohua River, Mulong Lake, Gui Lake, Rong Lake, and Shan Lake. The total length of the water system around the city is 7.33 kilometers, with a water surface area of 385,900 square meters. The project was first formed during the Northern Song Dynasty. At that time, boats crisscrossed the Rong Lake, Shan Lake, and Gui Lake, and there were many tourists, which was very prosperous.
