My N-th Spring in Korea, Healed by Cherry Blossoms 🌸

#cherryblossom25 Spring is just around the corner in Korea, and the cherry blossoms are about to make their beautiful arrival! If you’re planning a spring trip, you’ll want to head to the southern regions of Korea, as they typically get the blossoms a bit earlier than the north. Gyeongju, located in North Gyeongsang Province, experiences its cherry blossom season 7-10 days earlier than Seoul! What’s even more enchanting about Gyeongju’s blossoms is that the entire city is surrounded by cherry trees, blending with the charm of this ancient city. It’s a scene straight out of a dream! 🏰🌸 Here are some recommended places to enjoy the cherry blossoms in Gyeongju: Cheomseongdae Observatory (첨성대) A beautiful blend of history and nature, Cheomseongdae is one of Korea’s oldest astronomical observatories. During cherry blossom season, the surrounding area is draped in pink flowers, offering a unique photo opportunity with the ancient stone structure. The tranquil atmosphere here is perfect for those looking to enjoy a peaceful day surrounded by blooms. 📸🌳 Hwangnyongwon (황룡원) This historical park is home to a scenic area where cherry trees bloom in full glory. It’s less crowded than some other spots, making it ideal for a relaxing walk under the blossoms, and you’ll be able to enjoy the serene beauty of the surroundings. It’s a wonderful location to take a break and just enjoy nature. 🌷 Gyeongju World (경주월드) While Gyeongju World is known for its theme park rides, during cherry blossom season, the area transforms into a spectacle of colors. The contrast between the amusement park rides and the delicate cherry blossoms makes it an interesting, lively place to visit during spring. 🎢🌸 #naturalwonders
