What is it like to come to a cafe but not be thoroughly prepared in operating it? I visited The Yard about 2 weeks ago, the first day the restaurant opened its Grand Opening to welcome customers after 5 days of inviting KOLs. The night before I came over, I texted the shop to check its opening hours and confirmed that it would operate as usual and start welcoming customers from 10 am. But when I arrived at 10:10, there was no one at the shop, the door was closed. Until I saw that there were many people waiting in line like me, I tried to contact them again and received notice that due to personal reasons, the shop delayed its opening time by 2 hours to 12 o'clock. When I came back at 12 o'clock, the shop was still closed. There was only one person in the shop who called out to me. The shop won't open until 1 o'clock. Please come back later. At this point, my patience was almost gone, so I decided to come back for the third time that day when the restaurant finally opened to welcome customers. However, at that time, the staff had just started setting up and cleaning the store, which led to the drinks coming out quite a while after a number of customers "came in" after waiting all morning just to visit. The cafe is "hot" on social networks. 📍 This is still a fair review. Even though it had a bad start, The Yard is still a beautiful cafe with a peaceful small yard. The shop has two buildings, one is designed in the form of a house and the other feels like a garage for cars and motorbikes. Why do I guess that? Because, one building has clean and neat wooden floors and the other building has stone tiles, this creates a mismatch in design when both areas are reserved for guests. drink coffee.
