Helsinki: Uspenski Cathedral

Uspenski Cathedral in Helsinki is hard to miss with its red brick walls and golden onion domes shining on the hillside. Stepping inside, the rich colors, chandeliers, and detailed icons make it feel warm and grand at the same time. I liked how peaceful it was, even though it’s a popular spot for visitors. Since it sits on a small rise, the views of the city and harbor outside are also really nice. It’s not a huge place, so you do not need much time to visit, but it leaves a strong impression.
