Harbour Grand Hong Kong, Oil Street, Fortress Hill

A very good accommodation experience, first time staying at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong Hotel at 23 Oil Street, Fortress Hill. It is only a 3-minute walk from Exit A of Fortress Hill MTR Station. There are also buses, minibuses and trams passing nearby, so transportation is very convenient. The hotel is located two streets away from King's Road towards the sea, close to the Island Eastern Corridor, in a quiet and peaceful environment. Nearby are AIA Tower, Oil Street Inn, Hotel Alexandra and iclub Fortress Hill Hotel, etc. There are also many specialty restaurants nearby, making it convenient for food, clothing, housing and transportation. The hotel reception is in the basement lobby. The lobby space is quite spacious, but there is no waiting area with sofas and chairs for leisure. It will be inconvenient if there are many people queuing for check-in. The receptionist was very good, friendly and approachable, and explained things very clearly. I noted that I wanted a high floor room with a bathtub, and the receptionist did his best to arrange it for me. I was very satisfied! The check-in procedure is also simple. You only need to fill in some simple information and pay a deposit of $1,000 before you can get the key card and go to your room. The room is quite large, and the window overlooks the sea view towards the east corridor. The room doesn't feel new but is well maintained. It has all the basic facilities such as bottled water, electric kettle, tea bag, coffee bag and cup set, small refrigerator, glass bar, two chairs, a large double bed, a large flat-screen TV, a large wardrobe with hangers, bathrobes, a small safe and eco-friendly cloth slippers. The toilet and bathroom are separated by a glass door to achieve dry and wet separation. There is my favorite bathtub, which is large and comfortable, satisfying my preference for bathing! Other toiletries and towels of all sizes are complete, and the cleaning is very good! The hotel is very good overall, and the environment is comfortable. There is also a gym, outdoor swimming pool, spa, banquet hall, rooftop bar and restaurant, etc. It is worthy of a five-star rating and the price is reasonable.
