Transportation, service and facilities of Holiday Inn Express Mongkok. I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Mongkok for a total of three months, which was the longest time I stayed in a hotel in Hong Kong. When I lived here, I went to school and did an internship in Central at the same time, which felt pretty good. The hotel is a 6-8 minute walk from Mong Kok Station and Yau Ma Tei Station, and is also very convenient for commuting to Central. The hotel staff are very friendly and can speak Mandarin. Rooms are cleaned once a week (before February 2023, the current situation is unclear). The bed and pillows were also quite comfortable. The hotel room is more than 20 square meters, which is relatively large for this price and location. In terms of facilities, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, but it does have a laundry room (so important!). Because there is a laundry room, it is highly recommended for long-term stays! The most important thing: There are so many delicious foods near the hotel! So many that I have not explored all the stores even though I have lived here for so long. There are so many stores that I need to randomly choose a store to eat every day. Although it is mainly Chinese food, I have a Chinese stomach and I love the food in Mong Kok. There is also a 24-hour Wellcome supermarket near the hotel, so life can be said to be extremely convenient! Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Mongkok is located on the road side, where you can see the lights of the building at night. In Hong Kong, where every inch of land is valuable, the room was much bigger than expected, which is truly rare. I enjoyed the most profound 10-minute nap of my life here. I don’t know if it was the mattress or the pillow, but I slept very well the whole night. Breakfast is ordered. It may seem small in quantity but it is very filling. For fried eggs, please make sure you order sunny-side up or sunny-side up. When I came back at night, I chose the nearest Mong Kok MTR station. There were many dim sum snacks along the way. Chicken feet, siuma, and barbecued pork buns are not only breakfast, but also the most common midnight snacks. Wellcome brought a pack of Moroccan Orange, which looks good but tastes average. A room of this size in this location in Hong Kong is really nice. Although the window screens could not be opened when recording the store exploration video, the fact that it comes with towels, toiletries, breakfast, and the best sleep you can get here makes it worth visiting this store.
