Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a retro Hong Kong-style decor that is incredibly eye-catching, prompting diners to snap photos. The red-themed signage paired with neon lights exudes a nostalgic Dai Pai Dong vibe. Inside, the warm lighting, wooden tables, and red chairs create a lively yet cozy atmosphere. The menu at Woman Street Dining Company focuses on traditional Hong Kong home-style dishes with creative twists, offering a blend of classic flavors and fresh surprises. I tried a few signature dishes, each leaving a lasting impression. First up was the signature scallop free-range chicken. As soon as it was served, the aroma was irresistible. The chicken was tender and juicy, topped with fresh herbs and crispy garlic slices, adding layers to the texture. Next was the Uncle's Baked Fish Intestines, presented in a nostalgic clay pot. Steaming hot and golden in color, the dish featured crispy yet tender baked fish intestines, garnished with scallions and cilantro. The rich buttery aroma combined with the fresh fish flavor made for a delicate taste with a hint of charred smokiness. This dish perfectly showcased the essence of Hong Kong-style cooking, blending nostalgia with creativity. Finally, I ordered the Soy Sauce Emperor Dragon Beard Fried Noodles. Though simple in appearance, the flavor was outstanding. The noodles were stir-fried to perfection with a smoky wok aroma, mixed with onions, green peppers, and sesame seeds for a rich texture. A side of sweet and spicy sauce added an extra layer of flavor, making it hard to resist taking another bite.
