Min Wah Ice Room: Reliving the Flavors of Old Hong Kong

Today, I went to Metroplaza in Kwai Fong to watch a movie and decided to look for some good food nearby. The choices here are indeed overwhelming 🫩, but seeing the long queue outside Min Wah Ice Room, I decided to give it a try. 💞 Recommended Highlights: For the first time, I tried their signature dish, "✨Soulful Char Siu Rice." The thick-cut char siu, with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat, was served in large pieces that melted in your mouth. The flavor was delightful, and the two freshly pan-fried eggs added an unforgettable touch. The "🐷 Pork Chop Rice with Scallion Oil and Double Fried Eggs" featured a large, bone-in pork chop that was tender, well-marinated, and juicy with every bite. Paired with the egg yolk and soy sauce, it was a perfect match with the rice, making every mouthful incredibly satisfying! Additionally, the "🐂🍜 Ginger-Infused Pork Liver and Beef Rice Noodles" were cooked to perfection. The rice noodles were silky smooth, the broth was rich and flavorful with a strong ginger aroma, and the beef was tender and plentiful.
