The Time Corridor Leading to a Century-Old Mansion

On Chatham Path in Hong Kong's Victoria Peak, there stands a classical Western-style building that can only be reached by walking along the winding, zigzagging Chatham Path, adding an air of mystery to the mansion. Tim Haam Residence, with a history spanning over a century, has survived the tides of time and avoided redevelopment, retaining its original charm. It is now managed by Wai Gallery, which has transformed it into an art center hosting regular exhibitions and cultural exchange events. Currently, it features Leo Wong's solo exhibition "Floral Shadows in Porcelain," which combines various forms of peonies with ceramics. The ceramic sculptures showcase the natural beauty of peonies in different hues, appearing almost lifelike under natural sunlight. The title "Floral Shadows in Porcelain" is inspired by the Song Dynasty poet Su Shi's work "Floral Shadows," expressing the dynamic nature of flowers and the passage of time.
