Island Hopping in Hong Kong Is Seriously Underrated

#chinatravel Explored some of Hong Kong’s Outlying Islands and it was honestly such a cool experience. These spots are all part of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region but feel like mini vacations just a ferry ride away. I started with Cheung Chau and it was super cute. No cars, just bikes and tiny streets full of snack stalls and random shops. The vibes were chill and the beach was actually nice for just relaxing. Then I hit Lamma Island and did a little hike between the villages. It was super scenic with ocean views and random cows just hanging out. Grabbed some seafood at a beachside spot and it slapped hard. Peng Chau was smaller but had a quiet artsy feel. Not much going on but that’s kind of the point. It’s perfect if you just want to wander and do nothing. Overall, the islands feel like a break from the big city energy without going far. Would totally do it again with more snacks and less of a plan.
