The Upper House

It was even named "Hotel of the Year" in 2011. The hotel is located on the 38th to 49th floors of the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, with only 10 floors in total and 117 rooms. Compared to other hotels, the lobby of The Upper House is quite small, but probably because of the relatively small number of rooms and the small number of guests, it is not crowded even if you pass by the lobby several times. The lobby counter is also different from the enclosed design of ordinary hotels. Instead, it adopts an open area. Once we entered the hotel, the staff asked us to sit down and wait, and then they helped us register. Lift lobby The elevator lobby on each floor is very spacious. Although there are only 3 elevators, the waiting time is very fast every time. If you look carefully, you will find that there is no button to close the door in the elevator (it is said that this is because the hotel’s concept is to hope that guests can rest leisurely here, so it is specially designed like this) All the drinks in the mini bar are free except for red wine and white wine. However, the package we booked this time includes one bottle of red wine and one bottle of white wine. The staff said we can choose whatever we want from the mini bar. There are so many drinks in the refrigerator, it's really nice to drink while watching a movie at night!! Some of the supplies are placed in a bag on the left side of the sink (even a glasses cloth!) The photo may not be clear, but the hotel actually provides Airline Security bags (although I can’t use it right now, but the hotel is really considerate) The Upper House perfectly embodies the saying "Simple is best". From the lobby to the rooms, from the bedrooms to the bathrooms, there are no gorgeous decorations or shining furnishings.
