Lung Mei Beach, Tai Po artificial beach

Lung Mei Beach, located near Tai Mei Tuk Village in Tai Po, is the first bathing beach in Tai Po District. It is very convenient whether you drive or take public transportation (including bus and minibus routes). It is close to Tai Mei Tuk Lung Mei Village and many attractions. There are many large barbecue sites and specialty restaurants nearby. The beach is backed by Pat Sin Leng and faces Ma On Shan, with a pleasant scenery. Although the place is not big, what is special is that it is an artificial beach with a total length of 200 meters. It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and is the second artificial beach after Tuen Mun Golden Beach. Although the sand is coarser, it at least gives citizens one more choice.
