Getting There - Speed train to Huangshan Bei (North) station or fly to the Huangshan Airport. Then taxi or Didi to your hotel. Attractions - Take a leisurely walk down Tunxi Old Street and enjoy the local cuisine, or visit one of the many restaurants or bars. FFFFF sandwich cafe has the best jaffles in town. Or visit Yungpu or Yungpi scenic area of Huangshan South scenic area (Yellow Mountain) via shuttle bus and then cable car up the mountain. We left our luggage at a local cafe and our luggage was well looked after. You can also visit the hot spring scenic area near the Huangshan South scenic area. If you enjoy visiting ancient villages, Hongcun and Xidi are worth visiting. Hotels - Shanshui Boutique Hotel 山水间喜新恋旧 is a Japanese style hotel with Sushi restaurany and friendly, and helpful English speaking receptionist , Xiao Xi, on the shopping street and about 300m from Tunxi Ancient street. We also stayed at the Hongcun Scenic Hotel inside the Hongcun Scenic area. You can also stay on the mountain in Yungpi or Behai hotel, but it is quite a walk to get there, so pack lightly if you decide to stay on the mountain. There is also a nice hotel at the foot of Yungpu cable car area, but I don't know the name of the hotel. Food & Restaurants - Too many in the area to single one out, many ranging from Korean, Japanese, street food to local Chinese cuisine. Shopping - Local trinkets, tea, clothes and jewellery, depending on your taste.#newyearadventure
