Huixian City, Henan Province, Qiugou Scenic Area

Qiugou Scenic Area is located within the territory of Nanzhai Town, Huixian City, 50 kilometers away from the downtown area of Huixian City, with a total area of 24 square kilometers. The area is characterized by high mountains and dense forests, steep canyon walls, numerous pools and waterfalls, bizarre rocks and caves, ancient temple legends, and magical natural stone mortars (ice cellars); spring with blooming peach blossoms, summer with mysterious ice caves, autumn with red leaves and mountain fruits, winter with ice hangings on cedar trees. It is known as a 'heavenly wonderland, an earthly paradise', and is an ideal place for leisure, vacation, sightseeing, summer retreat, and painting.
