Nanxun Ancient Town, a town with a history of a hundred years

Compared to Wuzhen, I have a deeper affection for this permanently free ancient town! As the saying goes, 'Everyone speaks highly of the beauty of the south, and I follow the path all the way to Nanxun.' One must make a trip to Nanxun Ancient Town with their beloved! Here, I share the travel tips with everyone. Location: Nanxun District, Huzhou City Travel: - You can choose to drive yourself, or take the high-speed train to Huzhou Station and then transfer to a bus, or take a direct bus to the scenic area from Hangzhou East Station. However, if it's the peak season and it's crowded, it can be quite troublesome, so it's better to book a Hello ride in advance. - Accommodation: Stay inside or near the scenic area, just a few steps away. - When booking, make sure to check if it includes a free ticket to small attractions or a night cruise ticket (Nanxun's main ticket is permanently free, but there are a few small attractions that charge a fee). It is recommended to stay for one night to enjoy the night view of the Hundred Rooms Building, or to see the Nanxun Ancient Town without tourists in the early morning. The sunrise at the Hundred Rooms Building and the Shizi Port Wharf is incredibly beautiful and definitely worth a visit! Food: - Shuangjiao noodles, smoked bean tea, Nanxun pig's trotters, Dingsheng cake, orange cake, three-course tea, fresh meat wontons, thousand-layer wraps, burst fish, etc. - Xun cake: Located near the old residence of Zhang Shiming. Restaurant recommendations: - Zhuangyuan Building, Zhangjiagang Specialty Food Store. - Xunshu Fang Homestay, Longfeng Noodle House, Little Restaurant, See You Once, etc. There are also many coffee shops and dessert shops in the ancient town, where you can have a coffee or tea and take a break after a long walk. Tour route: - Xiaolian Villa - Zhang Shiming's Former Residence - Liu's Ladder Shop - Hundred Rooms Building residential complex. Hundred Rooms Building (which I am very fond of, day or night) If you have enough time, you can visit a few more spots. - Water bus: Silk Wharf - Shizi Port (3 yuan). - Hand-rowed boat: Xiaolian Villa - Guanghui Bridge, 160 yuan/boat during the day, can be shared, 20 yuan per person if split by 8 people, after 5 pm it's considered a night tour, 50 yuan/person. Do not miss the night view of the ancient town, it's incredibly beautiful! - You can take a ride on a sculling boat and leisurely enjoy the beautiful scenery! - If you happen to encounter a heavy rain, then you can perfectly witness the misty rain in the Jiangnan area! Nanxun in the rain is also unbelievably beautiful!
