Taltsy Museum of Wooden Architecture Taltsy Museum Located on the west bank of Lake Baikal in the suburbs of Irkutsk, it is situated in a clearing in the forest and is open-air. It is a highly valuable heritage of Russian national culture. It was established in 1969. It covers an area of 67 hectares and is located in a nature reserve. Almost all the buildings here are made of original wood, which is simple and mellow.
