Incredible opera house in Vienna

Vienna has a nickname "The City of Music" for being home to some of classical music’s best composers. The Vienna State Opera, or Wiener Staatsoper, is one of the best opera companies in the world. The 1,709-seat Renaissance Revival venue was the first major building on the Vienna Ring Road. It was built from 1861 to 1869 following plans by August Sicard von Sicardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll, and designs by Josef Hlávka. Holding the title for the world’s most opera productions per year, the Vienna Opera has about 70 different productions each year. And they are known for outstanding performances, thanks to the house’s incredible acoustics.
