Seeing the Puning Yingge Dance in person is amazing! From the first to the eighteenth day of the first lunar month (Jan 12 to Feb 15), the route and location of the Yingge Dance change every day. 🌟The sixth day of the first lunar month (Feb 3) 1️⃣Sanfu Village, Nanxi Town, Puning (starts at 1 pm, should last until around 4 pm) 2️⃣Cultural Square, Pingshang Village, Gaopu Town, Puning (8 am to 6 pm) 🌟The seventh day of the first lunar month (Feb 4) 1️⃣Jieyang Ancient City: 2025 Jieyang City Folk Parade (3 pm to 3:30 pm) 2️⃣Yubutou Village, Yuecheng Town, Jiedong District (7 am to 10:30 am) For more information, check the official WeChat account [Puning Release]. ⚠️About food 1️⃣Beef hot pot is a must. This time I tried [Puning Zhangcuozhai Beef Hot Pot], about 3 km from the Chigang Expressway exit. Recommended by locals, the beef hot pot doesn't increase in price during the New Year, about CNY 80 per person. It was already crowded by 11:30 am. The huge beef pineapple bun is great! 2️⃣Jieyang snacks. I ate near Jieyang Xuegong, and it was super crowded. The pickled chicken is really popular, with a long line! ⚠️⚠️⚠️Tips for visiting Jieyang Xuegong: 1️⃣Park outside Xuegong, I parked on Jiangbei Road, then walked 2️⃣Jieyang Ancient City Arcade Street, crossed 3️⃣Jinshi Bridge, and reached Jieyang Xuegong and Chenghuang Temple. You can see local customs and food along the way, about 2-3 km one way. 4️⃣⚠️Jieyang Xuegong closes at 4:30 pm, but you can take photos outside. If you want to go inside, go early! Jieyang is a hidden gem, with great value for money. Compared to Chaoshan, it's less crowded and worth taking your time to experience!
