Accommodation in Jinan - Shangri-La Hotel

The hotel I want to share today is the Shangri-La Hotel, Jinan. Rate the room: Pictured is the hotel's executive suite room type. A desk by the window, a simple sofa, a hanging painting, and the vacant space make up the living room. The guest bedroom consists of a classic big bed and a sofa by the window. The bathroom runs through the space of the living room and the guest bedroom, and has a dry and wet separation and an independent bathtub. Although there is only a single basin in the picture, the room actually has double basins separated by a cloakroom in the middle. Outside the window is a panoramic view of Quancheng Square with a great view. It's high season now and the price of this room has taken off. I personally don't recommend staying in this suite, it's a standard Shangri-La template with no special features at all. A regular room is adequate for this hotel, and the executive privileges are not particularly worth it. Evaluate the public area: The hotel is in a very good location, next to Quancheng Square, close to Jinan's core attractions such as Baotu Spring and Kuanhouli. The first floor is the basement of the hotel, and there are many third-party stores in the large shopping mall. The 2nd floor is the hotel reception + lobby bar + buffet restaurant. The lobby bar is beautifully decorated, in line with Shangri-La's traditional high ceilings and hanging paintings, while incorporating the vision of the Eye of the Spring City. The furniture is also top-notch. The buffet restaurant maintains Shangri-La's usual family-friendly style. The 3rd floor is the hotel’s small meeting room, with a large floor-to-ceiling window from which you can take photos of the Eye of the Spring City. The 4th floor is the hotel's grand banquet hall + executive lounge. The executive lounge is not very big, and the products are just so-so, with not much, but the view is still very good. The 5th floor is the hotel's fitness floor +spa, the gym facilities are new and well maintained, the swimming pool is of average size, and the spa quality is average. The remaining floors are guest room floors. In general, apart from the stunning lobby bar, the rest of this Shangri-La can only be said to be just around the passing line, or even below it. But looking at all the five-star hotels in Jinan, only this one has the best location and the quality is also okay (I will complain about Guihe InterContinental tomorrow). So my personal opinion is that if you come to this hotel, you can just stay in a low-cost room. It is best to spend most of your time outside playing in Jinan's classics.
