SICHUAN | JIUZHAIGOU VALLEY

#discoverchina Jiuzhaigou Valley is a nature reserve and national park located in the north of Sichuan Province, China, stretching over roughly 72,000 hectares and running north–south through the Min Mountains on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau  . Renowned for its multi‑level waterfalls, vividly colored lakes, snow‑capped peaks, and rich forest ecosystems, the valley was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and designated a World Biosphere Reserve in 1997.
