Weekend Hi Tea Buffet @ Double Tree Hilton JB

As I was already staying in DoubleTree by Hilton JB, and I was there to celebrate the birthday of my family member we decided to check out the Super Weekend Hi-Tea Buffet at Makan Kitchen to treat ourseleves with good food. The hi-tea is from 12:30pm - 3:00pm and I was charged around 70Rm per adult, i am unsure if this is the original rate or if a special discount was given to me due to my diamond status. We were quite hungry as we entered the Makan kitchen and went straight to the mains. The food options were endless and were very attractive. It was very diffcult to pick one particular dish to start with. I decided to begin with the Ayam Masak Lemak which is known to be a popular dish,i then went over to the westen corner and took the baked fish and some roasted vegetables with grilled chicken. After tasting over 10 - 15 dishes my absolute favorite was the crispy, flaky, and super yummy egg tarts.
