Joshua Tree National Park: A Desert Wonderland!

Visiting Southern California, Joshua Tree National Park was undoubtedly the most breathtaking stop on my West Coast trip! 🌵 The day before, we booked an Airbnb in the nearby Joshua Tree town. The house had a unique local charm, and at night, we could gaze at a sky full of stars✨. The next morning, we set off full of energy to explore the park! 【Transportation & Itinerary】 We opted for a self-drive trip 🚗, and it took less than half an hour to reach the park's west entrance from our Airbnb. Driving through the park was incredibly convenient, with the scenery constantly changing. Every turn revealed a new natural wonder. 【Must-See Spots & Surprises】 A must-visit is the famous "Skull Rock" 💀, which looks like a naturally carved skull. It's so fun to take photos next to it! Besides the fascinating rock formations, the park is filled with Joshua trees, various cacti, and desert plants, giving you the feeling of stepping onto an alien planet. The biggest surprise was spotting a rare Desert Tortoise 🐢 on our drive back! We never expected to encounter such an endangered species in the wild—what a lucky moment! 【Travel Tips】 Plan to arrive before sunset to enjoy the stunning light and shadows on the rocks✨. At night, you can also marvel at the starry sky with zero light pollution.
