Ino Tadataka Memorial Museum

This is a memorial museum for Ino Tadataka, located in the town of Sawara. Ino Tadataka was from Sawara, and is a great man who surveyed all of Japan and completed the Japanese region. Displays include Ino Tadataka's upbringing, the process leading up to the completion of the map of Japan, surveying equipment, and maps from that time. It's not very large, so you can enjoy it in an hour. Admission is 500 yen for adults, and it seems to be closed on Mondays.
