Tokyo Bay Second Sea Fort Tour

I took a tour of the Second Sea Fort, an artificial remote island that was used during the Meiji Restoration and subsequent wars. It takes 40 minutes by boat from off the coast of Kimitsu. The guided tour takes about an hour to go around the island and return. Normally you can't enter, but it seems you can if the travel agency gets permission, and that's how I got on land this time as well. By the way, there seems to be a First Sea Fort as well, but it's apparently off-limits. #RemoteIslandTravel
