Kirishima Shrine is located in Kirishima City, Kagoshima. The station is very small. I missed the bus 🚌 because I was storing my luggage 🛅, so I had to take a taxi 🚕. After 15 minutes, I saw a huge torii ⛩️ in the distance, surrounded by towering ancient trees. It was like a paradise far away from the hustle and bustle of the world, eye-catching and spectacular! After getting off the car, I started to climb the stairs and passed through 3 torii ⛩️ to reach the shrine. The shrine is located in a valley, and the wood carvings are colorful, reminiscent of temples in Fuzhou.
