It was like a little piece of Germany in the middle of the desert 🇩🇪 🌵 But by the 1930s, the diamonds ran out and people moved away. The town was abandoned in 1956 and the desert reclaimed it 🐫 📸 Now, Kolmanskop is a tourist attraction where you can see the sand-filled houses and imagine what life was like back then.
