Cuihu (Green Lake) is such a magical spot. It’s a garden right in the middle of busy Kunming city. I really enjoyed the little bazaar inside — with souvenir stalls, cigarette candies, accessories, rare fruits, fresh flowers, and even low-alcohol flower wine. You can also dress up in traditional Miao (苗族) clothing for photos. It’s just a great place to stroll around, eat, shop, and take pictures.

Dounan Flower Market (斗南花卉市场) is a AAA National Tourist Attraction in China, and it's an absolute paradise for flower lovers! You’ll find all kinds of blooms here — sunflowers, forget-me-nots in purple, white, and more, beautiful hydrangeas (绣球花), roses, orchids in every color you can think of, and even lotuses. Honestly, there are so many flowers, it’s hard to name them all! The way they arrange the flowers is so unique and creative — you’ll definitely want to bring a bunch home with you (if only you could!).
