Two-day tour of ancient water towns

We bought a Jiangsu Water Towns Annual Pass, so we took our child to visit Jinxi and Zhouzhuang over the weekend. Wujiang is full of water towns, and there are many ancient water towns in the area. Jinxi was originally called Chenmu, named after the concubine of Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty, who died in Jinxi and was buried in Chenmu. The name was later changed to Jinxi. We stayed at the Starway Hotel near the Jinxi ticket office. The location is great, and the hotel environment is good. The night view of Jinxi Ancient Town is stunning, especially the Gu Lian Bridge under the lights. Zhouzhuang is a 5A scenic spot and became famous because of Chen Yifei's painting "Double Bridges." It can be said that Chen Yifei made Zhouzhuang famous. Of course, the richest man in the Ming Dynasty, Shen Wansan, also came from here. The most amazing thing in Zhouzhuang is the Shen Mansion, which is Shen Wansan's house. The second floor is a corridor, and it was the first time I saw such a luxurious house. It is indeed the home of the richest man. I also want to praise Mulan Restaurant. The dining environment by the window on the second floor is great, and the food is delicious.
