Wat Sri Chum, the largest Burmese temple in Thailand

Wat Sri Chum is an ancient temple built in Burmese art style. This is the largest Burmese temple in Thailand, with a total of 31 temples. The beauty of the carved building, the roof of the Burmese-style pointed wooden structure, the ordination hall, and the Burmese-style bell-shaped pagoda. On the other side, there is a pavilion enshrining a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture, carved from a thousand-year-old teak wood. It was built in 1890. The bell tower is still old beside the old abbot's kuti. People come to pay homage and make merit all day long. There are monks waiting to receive offerings or make other merits according to their faith.
