Tibet sleeper train, crossing the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, experience the magnificent snow-covered scenery

Taking the Qinghai-Tibet Railway sleeper train to Tibet is a dreamy and stunning journey. The train departs from **Xining** and travels for more than 20 hours, crossing the **Tanggula Pass** at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters. Along the way, there are magnificent snow-capped mountains, vast grasslands and lakes. There are two options in the carriage: **hard sleeper** and **soft sleeper**. I chose the soft sleeper, which has more space. Each compartment has four beds, and the magnificent Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is outside the window. The train provides an oxygen-enriched system to reduce altitude sickness, but it is still recommended to slow down and drink plenty of water. The most amazing scene is in the early morning, when the train enters the **Khekexili** area, you can occasionally see Tibetan antelopes running leisurely, and the azure **Cona Lake** reflects the sky. This pure land is breathtaking.
