Jincheng Erxian Temple | Ancient Literati Inscriptions

|Ancient literati inscriptions. A small river called Xixi flows westward through a valley about 1 li wide, west of Chengguan Town in Jincheng. The water flow is not large, but the sound of the water can be heard throughout the valley. The Xixi Erxian Temple is located in this valley. The Xixi Erxian Temple has a long history, with buildings from several dynasties in the same temple. The many myths and legends are popular with the people and are beautiful, and there are also 12 cypress trees representing the Chinese zodiac, each at least 600 years old. The biggest highlight is the many works of praise left by literati and scholars of past dynasties. For example, the inscription by Yuan Haowen, known as a "child prodigy," "I have come here again and again over the years, the green mountains are still like a painting.
