[It's like a postcard!] I happened to come across the Santa Luzia Observatory while walking around the Alfama district. The moment I climbed the stairs, a cityscape of red-brown roofs and a glittering view of the Tagus River unfolded before my eyes. [The eye-catching azulejos are the best!] The walls of the observation deck are covered with Portuguese specialty azulejos (blue tile paintings)✨ The old Lisbon cityscape is depicted in a retro and stylish style. If you want to take a photo, the best way to capture the scenery is through the azulejos! [Right off Tram 28! Great access] Take the famous Tram 28 and get off at "Santa Luzia" station and it's right in front of you! Lisbon has many slopes, but the nice thing about this place is that you can get there with almost no climbing. I walked instead of taking the tram, but the buildings were so cute that I arrived quickly after looking around 🤭 The Santa Luzia Observatory is one of the spots you definitely want to stop by when you come to Lisbon! It's so luxurious to be able to see this view for free...🤩You can enjoy different views in the morning, afternoon, and evening, so be sure to go twice at different times♪ It's a popular place, so it might be best to go first thing in the morning! I went when the sunset was beautiful in the evening😊 The red-brown roofs were lit up by the setting sun, and it was a very beautiful sight🥰 However, there were a lot of people, so it was very crowded with people wanting to take photos😅 #Santa Luzia Observatory #Europe Trip #Portugal #Lisbon
