Luang Prabang

In the past, Luang Prabang was the Lan Xang Kingdom or Java, which was the old capital of the Lao people. But in 1900, the name of the city was changed to Chiang Thong. Until the Khmer king gave a Buddha statue to King Fa Ngum. The Buddha statue was called Phra Bang, which is a Sinhalese art Buddha statue.
