Both Yamdrok Lake and Namtso Lake are stunningly beautiful

Day 2️⃣ Sosong Village—Sunrise at Mount Namjagbarwa—Gongdelin Grassland—Dagze Gorge—Shannan This day was actually more about the journey. After a night of rain, Mount Namjagbarwa was not visible in the morning. Departed at 06:10, arrived at the Buddha Palm Sand Dune at 06:30, and reached the grassland at 16:40. It was a really long ride. At 18:00, you can see monkeys in Dagze Gorge and the treacherous Yarlung Tsangpo Highway. Didn't settle down in Shannan until 21:00. Day 3️⃣ Shannan—Yamdrok Lake—Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain Viewpoint—Damxung Departed from Shannan at 10:00. The road to Yamdrok Lake was quite winding, and a girl in the group got sick; many of us felt a bit of altitude sickness. At 11:30, the viewpoint revealed a stunning view of Yamdrok Lake from above, even bluer. ⚠️ Note: You can bargain for photos with yaks and lambs here. Arrived at the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain Viewpoint at 17:30, after another 4+ hours drive, and the snow-capped mountains were beautiful. Settled down in Damxung at 19:10. That night, a girl suffered from severe altitude sickness, and many of us had some insomnia due to the high altitude. Day 4️⃣ Damxung—Northern Tibet Grassland—Namtso Lake—Lhasa Departed at 08:30, reached Nagenla Pass at 09:10 to take photos with prayer flags. Arrived at Namtso Lake at 10:00 and switched to a shuttle bus, got off the shuttle bus at 10:20 (it's best to board the same way on return). Namtso Lake is truly worth it, with snow-capped mountains, grasslands, and lake highways all offering great photo opportunities. The different shades of blue are very healing. You need to wear a windbreaker, the wind is strong! Returned to Lhasa at 16:00, ending the trip perfectly, with no shopping throughout.
