We recently traveled to beautiful Milan and stayed at Hotel Auriga, located in the heart of the city. It's just a five-minute walk from Milan Central Station, which is super convenient! 😄 💼 From the moment you step into the hotel, you'll be struck by its unique decor, reminiscent of a whimsical Viennese carnival🏰. The lobby is adorned with luxurious chandeliers, and the floor features classic black and white tiles, creating a grand and elegant atmosphere. The receptionist was very friendly, and the check-in process was quick and efficient👍. The hotel also has charming old-fashioned elevators operated by traditional metal keys instead of key cards, which adds a touch of nostalgia!🔑 🛏️ We stayed in room 602, which offered a lovely view of the train station. The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable, although the mattress was a bit firm, it didn't affect our sleep😴. We especially loved the room's decor, which was both retro and had a touch of Southern charm❤️. The bathroom was well-equipped and even had a huge bathtub, which was a welcome treat after a long day of sightseeing🥂. The daily cleaning service was also excellent, definitely worth mentioning! 🍽️ The hotel breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of cereals, fruits, yogurt, cheese, and croissants. We've been craving it ever since we left😭. If you're still hungry after the hotel breakfast, there are plenty of restaurants nearby worth checking out, such as Ristorante Cracco and Innocenti Evasioni. These local eateries definitely satisfied our cravings🍝. 🏙️ Getting around the city was incredibly easy, with the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and Sforza Castle all within walking distance. The combination of beautiful attractions and convenient transportation saved us a lot on travel costs🚶. We also highly recommend checking out Mestieri in corso, a fascinating little shop where you can find all sorts of unique souvenirs🎁. 🌟 Overall, Hotel Auriga's unbeatable location, charming retro decor, excellent service, and amenities make it a great choice for a trip to Milan. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, you'll feel right at home here😊.
