Miyakojima: The Ultimate Travel Experience

This summer, I went on a trip to Miyakojima with my family. It was our first overseas trip with our baby, so I felt both excited and a bit worried. However, once we were there, it turned out to be an unforgettable experience filled with wonderful memories. 🌴☀️ We rented a car to explore Miyakojima freely. The island was larger than expected, and the attractions were scattered, making a rental car essential. Driving around, we were constantly greeted by dazzling blue seas and endless skies, making the drive itself a delightful part of the journey. 🚗💨 The most memorable moment was snorkeling! Since we had to take turns looking after the baby, we alternated going into the water. The highlight was encountering a sea turtle underwater. 🐢 Spending a brief yet serene time with the turtle as it swam gracefully was truly special and peaceful. Throughout the trip, we included relaxing activities that we could enjoy with our baby. Playing on the sandy beach or taking family photos with picturesque beaches as the backdrop allowed us to cherish precious moments together. Thanks to our baby, the trip felt slower and warmer, adding a unique charm to the experience. Of course, we couldn’t miss shopping at Don Quijote! It’s a must-visit spot during any trip to Japan, and there’s one in Miyakojima too. We conveniently bought souvenirs and essentials there. Visiting at night, the store was bustling with tourists, but the lively atmosphere added to the fun. 🛍️ This Miyakojima trip showed me that traveling with a baby can still be enjoyable and special. The natural beauty and precious family moments made this summer vacation truly unforgettable. Someday, when our child grows older, I’d love to return to see the turtles again. 💙
