Okinawa Cuisine｜Don't say you've been to Okinawa if you haven't tried the Goya Burger.

Take the monorail to Makishi Station 🚉, and as soon as you exit, you'll spot the extravagant neon sign of a bitter melon! Before even starting your stroll down Kokusai Street, you'll find yourself drawn in to grab a burger 🍔😋. Skipping the so-called famous spots can sometimes lead to hidden gems! As you step inside, you're greeted by a 100% American-style decor that hits just the right vibe 👍🏻. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Opening the menu, we were almost overwhelmed by the more than ten burger options, but thankfully, reason prevailed. We ordered a Goya Burger and a serving of Okinawa's signature taco rice! The Goya Burger was surprisingly refreshing and delicious. Of course, you can still taste the fresh bitterness of the goya while chewing, so if you're someone who absolutely can't stand bitter melon, you might want to skip this one and try another flavor 😆. The taco rice was absolutely amazing—no misses here. Highly recommend anyone visiting Sand’s Diner to give the taco rice a try!
