The Luxury Collection Nanning Room Type: Superior Suite The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from MixC and Dongmeng Business District Metro Station. I think the view is better than the Shangri-La next door. The skyline is just right. If you stay at the Shangri-La, you can't see the whole skyline, but the Shangri-La has better facilities. The front desk has seats and offers tea. Welcome fruit is prepared in the room before check-in (this isn't really a plus, but I've stayed at many hotels where the welcome fruit is delivered later). The room was decorated in advance. I was given a gift when I left. The service was great, whether at the front desk, restaurant, or from the cleaning staff. It meets the standards of a luxury hotel. There are some downsides. The room wasn't cleaned well. I found some food residue and dead mosquitoes left by previous guests. Breakfast was average. Apart from fresh juice and Nanning's famous laoyou noodles, it wasn't as good as other hotels of the same level. The hotel restaurant was good. I had dim sum twice during my stay. It was as good as Guangzhou Restaurant in Guangzhou. In summary, this hotel is only worth staying at if you're a Marriott member. If you're not a member, I recommend the Horizon Club at the Shangri-La next door. The facilities and food are better.
