Taipei Luzhou｜Walking along the "Old-school Girl Shopping Route"🍜

Yonglian Temple is the religious center of Luzhou and has a history of one hundred years. The statue of Guanyin in the main hall is solemn and majestic, and the colorful paintings on the walls are still bright after years of use. The sister in the temple was curious about how we found this place. I told her that I read in a book that it mentioned that this was a century-old temple with great popularity. My sister kept praising me, "You guys are so great." At that moment, I suddenly felt that the words on the book had transformed into the road under my feet, and my heart was filled with a sense of security and emotion. 🍜Second stop: Find the aroma of chopped noodles I wanted to go straight to the "Damiakou Chipped Noodles" that Aizhu's grandfather liked, but from a distance it seemed deserted and I wondered, "This shouldn't be the case." When I got closer, I found a scribbled sign hanging on the shop: "Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays." So we moved to the "Tian Ding Chie Zai Noodles" next door - just as it was written in the book, all the Chie Zai Noodle shops in Luzhou are popular shops, and there are huge crowds of people during meal times. We shared a table with a middle-aged couple. The uncle ate a few bites and then fed his wife some soup. Seeing that we were feeling awkward, the aunt took the initiative to remind us that "we have to take the orders to the front desk ourselves." Two bowls of noodle soup were served: the pork tongue and pork kidney had a strong Shandong flavor. The "mainland girl" that C ordered out of curiosity turned out to be crispy and tender lettuce. The soup was so fresh that it made your eyebrows drop, and the meat was soft and tender and tasty. A simple bowl of noodles was full of the warmth of the city. When I left, the sunlight shone through the arcade onto the stone road. I suddenly realized that the "old-fashioned" described by Aizhu was never old-fashioned, but measuring the temperature of the city with taste buds and feet. The temples and noodle stalls hidden in the alleys, the sisters who are willing to give directions, and the casual conversations while sitting at the table together are the most moving texture of a city.
