Entrance fee to the White Temple is around 100 baht, which is a steal considering the beauty that awaits inside. As you approach the temple, you're greeted by a bridge over a sea of outreaching hands, symbolizing desire and greed. It's a powerful entrance that sets the tone for the experience ahead. Inside, every inch of the temple is adorned with intricate sculptures and vibrant murals that tell stories from Thai mythology and pop culture. From traditional Buddhist imagery to modern icons like Spiderman and Batman, the artwork is eclectic and thought-provoking. One of the highlights of my visit was the main temple hall, where a larger-than-life mural of the Buddha is surrounded by swirling patterns and vibrant colors.
