Largest Freshwater Lake in Japan

I made a visit to the largest freshwater lake in Japan - Biwako (Lake Biwa). It is located near Kyoto. You may plan a visit to Biwako if you are visiting Kyoto. The weather was too cold so I didn't take a walk by the Lake. I went up to the Biwako valley ski resort area, the view up there is stunning. Biwako is so huge you are unable to see the whole Lake even on high grounds. If you are not planning to ski, I suggest visiting Biwako during spring, summer or autumn, while the weather is not too cold. #biwako #biwakovalley #osaka
