Palermo is beautiful 🏞️

#traveldiaries My trip to Palermo, Sicily, was an incredible mix of culture, history, and delicious food. The city feels like a blend of ancient and modern, with its bustling streets and historical gems around every corner. I visited the Palermo Cathedral, which is free to enter but costs €5 for access to the roof. The views of the city from up there are breathtaking, and the architecture itself is stunning, a mix of Arab, Norman, and Gothic styles. Wandering through the Ballarò Market was another highlight—full of vibrant colors, fresh produce, and street food like arancini and panelle. You could easily spend hours there, just eating and soaking in the atmosphere. I also stopped by the Norman Palace and the Palatine Chapel (€12 entry), a masterpiece of mosaics. Palermo’s lively streets, rich history, and mouth-watering cuisine made it a place I won’t forget! 🌿⛪🍋 #palermovibes #sicilianflavors #ballaromarket #palermocathedral #normanpalace #sicilyadventures
