Fort Phra Chulachomklao

Phra Chula Fort is a water fortress located in Laem Pha Pha Subdistrict, Phra Samut Chedi District, Samut Prakan Province. Currently, Phra Chula Fort is under the care of the Bangkok Naval Base. Interesting points include paying homage to the royal monument of King Chulalongkorn and visiting the Mae Klong Warship Museum. When was it built? There is no clear evidence, but it is estimated that it was built around March 1884 during the reign of King Chulalongkorn to protect against invasions from England and France, which was a suitable location if enemy warships invaded through the estuary.
