Wat Phra Borommathat Chae Haeng

Phra Borommathat Chae Haeng is located in Phu Phiang Subdistrict, about 2 km from the city center. It is a sacred pagoda of the city and an important religious site of Nan Province, over 600 years old. It shows the beautiful architecture and art of the Nan craftsmanship style on the Nan-Mae Charim route. It is believed that the governor ordered its construction in 1891 to enshrine the relics of the Buddha that were brought from Sukhothai. The entire structure is covered with brass.
